I got this for my troy bilt 42 inch 2 blade riding mower, the directions are simple to follow,had it installed in 5 minutes, connected it to the garden hose, started the mower, turned on the blade, and it cleaned in just a couple of minutes, without getting grass clippings all over me. If you want to keep the mower deck and blades clean by connecting the hose and sitting on the mower with the blades running for a few minutes (thats all there is to it) this is the product for you.

The vendor was top notch and delivered the item quickly as promised. My problem is with the products quality. Do not buy these low quality pieces of junk. Save your hard earned money. The quick disconnects do not make positive connections and blow off when the water is turned on. The metal is low quality and both of the nozzles are broken off the deck from debris being kicked up by the blades. This product should not have ever been released for sale to the public.

My MTD 38" yard machine doesn't have a hole on the mowing deck for this kit. You need to drill a hole with a 5/8" bit, then you are good to go. It works well as expected.

Installation was fairly simple but you'll probably have to either raise the mower or remove the deck to get under it. Best to have a good sized socket set (or a friend that has one) on hand. Comes with a quick connect fitting for the hose. Since I already have quick connects on my hoses that were not compatible with the kit, I just screwed a male fitting onto the fitting provided. The nice thing about the provided fitting is that it doesn't allow water out until it's connected to the deck. The system works pretty good provided you use it immediately after you mow. When I do that for two minutes (as per the instructions), it works well. The last time I mowed, it started raining just as I was finishing so I parked the mower in the garage until the next day. There was still quite a bit of residue after I operated the kit for a full five minutes, so I still had to get under there with a hose. For the price, though, it's not bad. I would buy it again.

At the beginning of the spring I bought a new MTD 46" riding mower. It was a little expensive so I want to be sure I keep up regular maintenance. I noticed this particular mower was set up to accept the deck wash attachment (the 46" only has one attachment hole regardless of what the product description says). I shopped around online for the best price and got it from an Amazon registered dealer. This is perhaps the best $10 I've ever spent!

The deck wash does exactly what it claims to do. Installation was easy after I scraped off a month's worth of mowing from the underside of the deck. I simply hooked up a water hose to the nozzle, turned the water on full blast and engaged the blades. I let it run for about two minutes and during that time there were large chunks of crap shooting out from under the mower. This is a cheap and easy way of keeping the underside of your mower free of debris and corrosive materials that build up from mowing.

If you have a mower that will accept this attachment I HIGHLY suggest buying this attachment to help protect the investment in your mower.

This kit really works great and is at a good price. Was going to buy a kit at a local Cub Cadet dealer and the price was double. I drilled out both my mower decks and installed 2 on each deck. Hook up the garden hose and watch the grass come out from the deck. You won't be unhappy about this purchase.

I've tried pretty much all I could think of to clean the underside of my lawn tractor, and this little inexpensive device works great! Far easier than taking the deck off to scrape and clean. Only problem is you need to sit there for at least five minutes with the spray and the blades going, but it is totally worth it. Super easy install, even with the deck still on.
