The skids (slide shoes) are factory replacements and no doubt will be exactly the same as the originals for your snow blower. I have a Yard Machine, but most snow blowers on the market are made by the same manufacturer, MTD.

I can confirm that my recent purchase arrived as a pair, are from MTD and are designed, as stated on the package, for "Two-Stage Models 1992 and After" such as Troy-Bilt, MTD, Yard Machines, Gold, Bolens, White, Huskee, and Yard-Man. A great deal, and made in the USA.

The Arnold OEM-784-5580 MTD Slide Shoe For Snow Throwers replacement slide shoes fit my snow blower perfectly and were easy to install. They come packed in pairs. I recommend this product.

My 10 year old Yardman snow blower skids finally wore out the bottom. Of course the part number had changed since then so I was kind of leery about this newer part number being the same, but it was an exact match with the old skid. If you can't tell from the picture it is a MTD OEM part.

Right product at right price. I may have misread teh description, but I did not realize two shoes came with each order so I ordered two. I will need the extras at some point anyway so not a big deal to me

Tough to find,

Had a tough time finding these here in Minneapolis after a long, snowy winter. These came in a card pack with two in the pack. I saw some other reviewers said they only got one but I got two as the picture shows. Now if I can just get to not needing these so much for a few months. :-)

The product was exactly as described. And for half the price of ONE at the local retail store, I was able to get TWO! And it arrived at my house in just a couple of days. Excellent service!

Half the price of the replacement shoes at the original manufacturer and just the same quality. These shoes wear out each season and I have yet to find a local store that carries them on the shelf. Wonder why?
