Arnold: warts and all,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER: A PORTRAIT (Paperback)
The author doesn't pull any punches with this book. I'm an Arnold fan but I know the guy is far from perfect, and Butler doesn't try to pretend that he is. The text presents all that is both great and terrible about The Oak. Not that Butler's respect and liking of Arnold doesn't come through as well, but he doesn't sugar-coat it as some others have tried to do.
Even better than the text is the photography. Most of the photos have the feeling of candid snapshots rather than slick studio images. There's a lot of personality and rawness to the images. I bought it looking for some inspiration to keep me hitting the gym every day and I got it. |
