This is a great frypan. It heats evenly, is easy to wash and has an opening on the lid to allow air circulation. We love it and use it for everything from pancakes to asian dinners.

My husband and I are adventurous and yet really rather simple cooks. We are casual enough to have one electric non-stick frying pan that we cook almost everything in, from sauces to main dishes. We have tried them all, most recently the Presto electric non-stick frying pan. The Presto was okay, but it has an almost dangerous design flaw in that the legs easily loosen and make the unit itself rock instead of holding sturdy as you cook. No matter how often we tightened the legs, within 2 or 3 uses the legs would loosen and wobble again. Then, too, because of the smooth, plastic legs, the Presto easily slides all over the counter as you are trying to cook. We were thrilled when we saw on Amazon that the Aroma 15-inch Electric Non-Stick Skillet was available. We'd had one several years ago and thought it was perfect. We love the deep cooking unit itself. It holds ample amounts of everything we love to cook. But perhaps the best feature is that it is rock solid. The legs are well situated on the main cooking unit and do not wobble or move at all. As an added benefit the legs have rubber/silicone pads that keeps the unit in place so it does not slide on the counter. The Aroma is about $10 more than the Presto--and worth every dime. We will never use another electric skillet again.

Only had my skillet in use for a month or so, used it maybe 5 times. I really do like it. The sides are a smidge tall for my taste, but will really increase the food capacity. Interior non-stick surface seems to be durable, and all connections and the cord seem to be high quality. It is a rather heavey item though.

I have another of these pans. It is very used and I was needing to replace it, but could not find anything I liked of comparable quality. I found a website for Aroma Co, but they no longer manufacture this particular item. I am very happy to have found it through Amazon. It is a fantastic product. It performs well and its size makes it very versatile. It is too bad that Aroma Co has discontinued this fry pan.
