My 1yr old son loves the Lamb his uncle got for his first Christmas. So much so that I'm planning on purchasing a second Lamb in case the first goes missing! The lamb smells wonderful, but it takes much longer than the minute for the insert to heat up. I don't bother heating it up as you can smell the lavender just fine without it. Washing is easy, just toss in with the rest of your clothes after removing the insert. He's gotten all sorts of messy things on the white-ish "fur" and it's all come out with no fuss. The fur doesn't pull out easily which is wonderful because he's started to gnaw on the ears and Lamb's head. The stitching seems to be holding up well as well for such an active lamby-life with a toddler. If you want to give your child a lovey that isn't a blanket, I recommend this product!

My mom gave me the duck when I left for college. I microwave the insert whenever I have PMS cramps and just hug it to my stomach. The lavender and chamomile are very soothing, which helps me relax. It works just like a heating pad.

I bought the monkey version of the Aroma Home Hot Hugs and can attest to its softness and adorableness. Winters here get a bit chilly and it is comforting to have something warm and cuddly against your stomach.

The monkey comes with an insert which you microwave for a minute. Be mindful of the directions and remember to microwave the insert with a half cup of water or you can end up with a very unpleasant smell.

So I get constant headaches, feel cold easily/arthritis pains and have a case of insomina now and then. I bought this product because of the novelty of sleep and counting sheep. Thought it was a cute premise for an insominiac. Initially I heated it wrong and the smell made me nauseous. Heated it the right way with the water and 10 second intervals and instantly loved it. Put it under my head during one of those headache nights and woke up the next morning not quite sure when I fell asleep and when the pounding in my head ceased. It was that relaxing of an aroma and the right amount of warmth. This lamb is my version of a warm glass of milk every night. Don't know if it would work the same for every one else but this lamb is a dream for me.

I haven't bothered to microwave the insert. It smells so good, I love it!

I will buy several more to be given as gifts.

Order arrived quickly in perfect condition. My son LOVES the lamb and will sleep with it. We have not tried heating up the pillow inside. I was initially concerned because the label says that it's for children ages 3 and up and my son was 7 months when we bought it. However, there are not any parts that can come off and the eyes are stitched on. I think the restriction is due to the heat pillow. If you don't use that, you can (in my opinion) use this lamb safely with younger children as well.

Okay, I embraced my inner child when I was given this plush monkey. He smells wonderful with the lavender oil and once I cuddled him I realized how NICE and WARM it was. The heated stone stay warm for a long time (a couple hours or so) and the lavender made it perfect for being sick in bed. Definitely a great gift for both old and young. Plus he's so cute!

I purchased this for my mother for Christmas after scanning the internet for a cute cow stuffed animal. She is 80 and recently had a heart valve replacement and they used a cow valve. It is so cute and well made and my mother loved it...she said she warmed it up before going to bed and just put it near her cheek & neck....had the best night's sleep she had in months!

When her tummy aches, we'll warm op the Hot Hug and she falls asleep without problems...

So, a great gift for both kids and parents!

I like the way my lamb hugs my shoulder and the fact that I can remove the heating pouch to warm in the microwave.

My last product a bear had burned in the microwave because the whole thing had to heated.
