The blender is okay, it really isn't that great, but when I broke my rubber gasket, I found that there AREN'T ANY REPLACEMENT GASKETS AVAILABLE. There are rubber gasket replacements for every other blender ever, but I absolutely can't find one for this blender.
I called the manufacturer, they told me the gaskets were on back order and would be available in 5 or 6 weeks, and they would contact me to order one at that time. Meanwhile, I bought an Oster blender for $2 at a yard sale, and it is AWESOME.
I have since called and emailed the manufacturer with NO RESPONSE. I am pretty sure the "5 to 6 week back-order" was just a way to get me off the phone, and that there are in fact no replacement parts at all (check out their website, they don't even have blenders on it).

I bought this blender about 4 months ago. Shortly after I noticed that bottom of the base started to rust. It didn't really bother me until today when I filled it up with milk and all of it leaked out through the bottom in about 30 seconds. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

I needed a simple blender that had a glass decanter. I concoct anything from garlic tonics to fruit smoothies and the glass container was imperative. I didn't realize that this simple 2 speed blender was so versatile and so powerful, and many times I use it instead of my food processor. I'm extremely pleased with this Aroma Blender; too many speeds mean too many possible problems with the transmission and this company has skirted all those problems with this machine. I also love the easy clean-up, because its dishwasher safe!!! YEEAAAY!!

I bought this about a year ago. It worked fine up until a couple of months ago. The blade piece now leaks out the bottom. I found the manufacturer's website and contacted them through email. They did not respond. They have a section on their website for replacement parts but this item is not on there. I am disappointed!!
