THIS IS A GREAT LITTLE PAPERBACK THAT IS PACKED WITH INFO. IT CONTAINS DETAILED INFO ON HOW TO USE ESSENTIAL OILS, AN ALPHABETICAL LISTING ON THE USES OF OVER 50 OILS EVEN WITH PRECAUTIONS, & A LISTING OF AILMENTS WITH THE OPTIONS OF SEVERAL DIFFERENT OILS FOR EACH. MAYBE NOT AS LARGE & COMPREHENSIVE AS OTHER VOLUMES, BUT I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. I ACTUALLY FOUND A COUPLE OF AILMENTS NOT LISTED IN ANOTHER MORE EXPENSIVE BOOK ON AROMATHERAPY. IT IS VERY EASY TO READ & USE.

I bought this book as an alternative to Young Living's Essential Oil guide. I like it ok. There are a few health concerns that I would have like to have seen in this book, but overall it's pretty good. You can browse either by the oils name, or an illness or condition. It gives detailed explainations of how to use the oils for aromatherapy purposes and tells you which oils will best suit certain problems. If you're looking for a good aromatherapy guide and don't want to pay $25 and up, this is a good little book.

This is the first book I ever read on the subject and it got me so interested that I had to run out to the nearest health food store and buy myself an aroma lamp with 3 oils. I found it very informative and easy to follow.
