The springs are functional, the finish and quality very good for the price. These are made for a more traditional shaped shoe and are not ideal for a trendy, pointy toe mens shoe, but are pretty good none the less. I ordered 2 pair just to make sure they wernt junk and will order another set over the next day or so. Trees are very important to maintain your quality leather shoes (they hold the shape and help prevent creasing, absorb moisture and deodorize).I am quite happy with them. An excellent value!

These shoe trees are not cheap; however, they are better made than any other shoe tree I've purchased.I was particularly impressed by the full heel form. Other shoe trees have a narrow cedar bar for the heel. The heel form also has a metal knob for removal from the shoe. Other features include double bars connecting toe and heel shapes and a raised shoe tongue form. The toe section is also constructed in 2 pieces which I assume can be adjusted to better fit the width of the shoe. A worthwhile accesssory for good shoes.

These shoe trees do what they promise, with a nice scent, too. I bought for my husband's shoes, which are larger than what the product supposedly fit. No problem, they still work! He wears a size 13. He and I are both happy with the purchase!
