This book is poetry from beginning to end. This respected teacher and author has written a little gem that, despite its small size, will grace any serious or amateur aromatherapist's bookshelf. The formulas are easy to follow and effective; the aromas divine. Be forewarned--the recipients of presents made from the formulas will keep coming back for more! It is surprising how much (well-researched) information is packed into this book. The gorgeous photographs compliment the text beautifully..a unique work!

The photography in this book is truely beautiful. The pictures alone make you want to try aromatherapy. Eva writes in a way that makes it easy to understand, even for someone who is a complete novice. It leaves you with the desire and the knowledge to try using essential oils, along with a beautiful sense of well-being. A really wonderful book...I look forward to reading it again and again.

Aromatiques takes the mystery out of the science of using essential oils, then carries the reader foward to safely explore the art of blending. The author provides a solid foundation of science, and inspires with her love of the craft. She has found a perfect blend of art and science, and shares it on every page.

As a novice to the world of essential oils, this book has become the mainstay of my fledgling library on this subject.

this book was a wonderful place to begin my relationship with aromatherapy. it is elegantly written and made me aware of so many things we can do to take care of our body, our minds, and our hearts!

Whether you are beginning your education in aromatics or a long time practitioner, Eva Marie Lind has proven to be around for the long haul. It is fortunate for us that she is willing to share her knowledge and experience in this beautiful volume.

This is a wonderful book. Being new at Aromatherapy I found it really interesting what the different scents can do. Although I haven't tried making them myself I have experienced the effect of some of them. Couldn't believe how just smelling something can change your whole mood. I highly recommend this book if you are interested in making your own oils and experiencing the different effects they have on you.

This book allows the layperson to understand and appreciate the powerful and the subtle, not to mention the sublime. It has introduced me to a very old medicine as art.

Before reading Eva-Marie Lind's "Aromatiques" I was a bit of a naysayer about aromatherapy..."smells nice" kinda person. I received the book as a gift and devoured it, everyone in my household has enjoyed it. We have tried some of the suggestions and now are aware of how everyday as well as exotic aromas affect our moods, health and well being.

Aromatiques is an inspirational and educational book full of energy. This book has so much insight, such as what to look for when buying your oils as well as how to build your own synergy. Beautiful recipes to try at home and a cupboard of information on essential oils as well as some of their contraindications. I reccomend this book to anyone who has a keen interest in the Essential Oils.

I loved this book. As a person who is interested in Aromatherapy, the authors advise gave me detailed information about the benefits of this time-honored therapy.
