House music doesn't get any better, November 9, 2007

I've been a fan of house music for the last 12 years and other forms of electronic music longer than that. Since the Lawnchair Generals hit the scene, they've consistently raised the bar. Even trance fans usually convert after dancing the night away at a Lawnchairs show. Their production is always top-notch, never predictable and always makes you want to throw your hands in the air - either because you can't stop movin' on the floor (i.e., "The Truth") or because the tune is just too beautiful (i.e., their remix of Martin Venetjoki's "Don't Give it Up").
On this CD, they've seamlessly mixed together most of their big club hits and a few rare/unreleased tracks. It's brilliant for non-DJ fans, since half the tunes were previously only available on vinyl. This CD is a must for anyone who considers her/himself a discriminating fan of quality electronic music.
