5.0 out of 5 stars A hit!, September 16, 2009
This review is from: Around the Way Girls 6 (Paperback)
I've always enjoyed the Around the Way Girls series. Meisha Camm leads the way with her story, The Pact. The others didn't leave me disappointed, either.

This book is quite the page turner. Out of all the authors, Meisha Camm's story called the PACT was my favorite. I loved the twists and turns. Add this one to your bookshelf.

3.0 out of 5 stars Could have been better!, July 21, 2009

First off,I am a huge fan of the Around the Way Girls series,But I have to be honest and say that this was not what I was expecting. The anthology contained 3 stories and the best one out the bunch was The Pact by Meisha Camm, she did a wonderful job with this story,it was straight to the point and held my attention till the very end and i really connected with the characters.
Connie's Cartel by Mark Anthony actually started off pretty good but he must have forgotten that this was supposed to be a short story because it became so lond winded and drawn out that I completely lost focused.Only to be stuck with a "to be continued"..so yeah I guess there is going to be sequel to this.
The Favor by Rashan Ali was on the same level as Mark Anthony's story, only difference was that it held my attention a tad bit longer. But this one could have been better as well.
As for the book as a whole,I rated it a 3 because I know Urban Books could have came harder than this!Out of the series, this one is the worse.
