Book Description

October 29, 2002
Susan and Stephanie seemed to be meant for each other. From Susan's fateful drive into a snow bank and Stephanie's debonair rescue of the damsel in distress, to eventually becoming lovers and partners in building the Flibberty Jibberty Rose Ranch, there seemed to be no limit to how far these two could go together. Could one phone call put an end to the blissful life the two had carved out for themselves?

No matter how much pain Tiffany had caused in Susan's life, she would never have wished such a horrible thing to have happened to Tiffany. Hearing of Tiffany's near death experience, caused by a brutal attack while on her visit to Australia, brought forth feelings and emotions that Susan thought she had long ago laid to rest. Her heart grieved for Tiffany and she knew she had no choice but to go to her. Would the love that Susan and Stephanie shared be strong enough to keep them together with so many miles separating them, especially with Johnnie waiting in the wings to fill in for the absent Susan?

In this exciting sequel to Around We Go, watch as the author weaves the tangled web even tighter.

5.0 out of 5 stars Madly in Love, December 30, 2002

Abby (North Carolina) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Around We Go Again (Paperback)
I think I have fallen in love. How such characters can come from the mind of one person is truly an amazing talent. Not only has Ms. Chatelain created an entertaining story, but she has caused me to feel a stirring of care and concern for the characters in her story. I very much desire to know where all of these women end up. I think about Tiffany, Susan, Johnnie, and Stephanie at odd times during the day, and find myself wondering what they might be doing at that very moment. Even though I know that they are not real, they still live on in my mind. I am so eager to know which direction the creative mind of this author will take them next. I can't decide which of the characters I am most in love with. I find that there are bits and pieces of each of them that draw me in. It's fun to sit and think about the particular characteristics of each woman within the story. Actually, I think if I could pull certain traits from each of them that I could create my ultimate soul mate *big smiles*.

3.0 out of 5 stars Still needs a good editor, March 29, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Around We Go Again (Paperback)
I had forgotten how badly the first book in this series was edited, until I read this one. The mistakes in verb tenses and grammar and the infantile dialogue are enough to drive you crazy. Within one paragraph, Chatelain has a character talking to herself because she keeps using the wrong name in the wrong places. A good editor would pick up these problems and make this a stronger book. If these women are true to life, I'm glad I'm not leading that life. One woman is infuriated when she walks in on her girlfriend in bed with another woman, despite the fact that she has just cheated herself. For two women who are supposed to be so committed to each other, they have the morals of alley cats. There are side incidents that have nothing to do with the story and do nothing to further or enhance it. The way these women talk is so stilted you wonder where they came from, certainly not modern Earth. There are some powerful sex scenes. Maybe those make up for the shortcomings of the book, barely. The nutty thing is that I'll probably read volume 3, which is pending, just to find out how the story ends up.....and to see if Chatelain finally gets a good editor, because she sure needs one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Winner, July 13, 2003

This review is from: Around We Go Again (Paperback)
This book was even better than the first! I love Susan's character. Even though she betrayed Steph's trust with Tiffany Susan was willing to fess up. My heart ached for her when she found Johnnie and Steph together. Johnnie is a nasty character and I wouldn't mind her being booted from the story! This book had me in tears! Another well written masterpiece from Ms. Chatelain!
