Madly in Love,
By Abby (North Carolina) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Around We Go Again (Paperback)
I think I have fallen in love. How such characters can come from the mind of one person is truly an amazing talent. Not only has Ms. Chatelain created an entertaining story, but she has caused me to feel a stirring of care and concern for the characters in her story. I very much desire to know where all of these women end up. I think about Tiffany, Susan, Johnnie, and Stephanie at odd times during the day, and find myself wondering what they might be doing at that very moment. Even though I know that they are not real, they still live on in my mind. I am so eager to know which direction the creative mind of this author will take them next. I can't decide which of the characters I am most in love with. I find that there are bits and pieces of each of them that draw me in. It's fun to sit and think about the particular characteristics of each woman within the story. Actually, I think if I could pull certain traits from each of them that I could create my ultimate soul mate *big smiles*.

Still needs a good editor,
By A Customer
This review is from: Around We Go Again (Paperback)
I had forgotten how badly the first book in this series was edited, until I read this one. The mistakes in verb tenses and grammar and the infantile dialogue are enough to drive you crazy. Within one paragraph, Chatelain has a character talking to herself because she keeps using the wrong name in the wrong places. A good editor would pick up these problems and make this a stronger book. If these women are true to life, I'm glad I'm not leading that life. One woman is infuriated when she walks in on her girlfriend in bed with another woman, despite the fact that she has just cheated herself. For two women who are supposed to be so committed to each other, they have the morals of alley cats. There are side incidents that have nothing to do with the story and do nothing to further or enhance it. The way these women talk is so stilted you wonder where they came from, certainly not modern Earth. There are some powerful sex scenes. Maybe those make up for the shortcomings of the book, barely. The nutty thing is that I'll probably read volume 3, which is pending, just to find out how the story ends up.....and to see if Chatelain finally gets a good editor, because she sure needs one.

Another Winner,
By Jolene M Baldwin (Tampa, FL USA) - See all my reviews

This book was even better than the first! I love Susan's character. Even though she betrayed Steph's trust with Tiffany Susan was willing to fess up. My heart ached for her when she found Johnnie and Steph together. Johnnie is a nasty character and I wouldn't mind her being booted from the story! This book had me in tears! Another well written masterpiece from Ms. Chatelain!

**BIG GRINS**.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Around We Go Again (Paperback)
Tiffany needs to be turned over someone's knee and paddled for playing with Susan's heart in that way. I would not have wished her fate on her for anything, but she was such a selfish woman. Susan is the kind of woman that I'm attracted to, and I wish that I was Stephanie **BIG GRINS**. Then again, I can just throw myself into the story and be whoever I want to be in this story.

I have found a new genre of books I like.,
By Tim Clark (Colorado) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Around We Go Again (Paperback)
I think this book might be a little better then the first one becasue I can really get into who these people are now since it feels as if I know them better. This book was very thought provoking, and so true to life. Bad things happen, unexpected things happen, wonderful things happen. Life is a blast and a drag like that. I can picture these characters very clearly and I find myself wanting to take them to the side and give them a good parental talking to. It took me less time to read this book then most of the mysteries I read, because with them I tend to read some and then put them down several times during the course of one book, with this series I found myself not wanting to put any of them down at all. The sex scenes are very bold, someone mentioned the word raunchy to describe them, if that's the case then I say thank you and my wife also thanks you, they are very hot.
