I somewhat enjoyed the first book but this sequel was hard to get through. It jumped all over the place and wasn't very entertaining. I think if the author would finish off the scenes alittle better it might of helped. I hope for the next book she put more effort into the flow of the story.

It's right up above ... read it.

If you can read that and not pause one, two, three or more times to correct the grammar, wonder who "her" refers to in at least two places where you can't tell, and want to rewrite several sentences then you *might* be able to read this book.

I couldn't. Every page had me itching for a red pencil. The excuse that it's the writer's 'style' doesn't fly. As a 'style' it comes under the label of 'ignorant of basic grammar.' An editor could work for a week on this book and still be on chapter 1.

There's plot here, but it is so hard to find under the bad writing that I couldn't follow it. What I could tell was that what seemed a promising romantic story has turned into pure soap opera -- people who are good today are evil tomorrow to just keep the drama high and the satisfaction low.

I couldn't get enouph of any of her books in this spectacular series of books and this book is no different. I was completely BLOWN away. This book as the ones before take me to another world,another place, it takes me into the story. Magnificent as always!!!!!! I often re-read all the books in the around we go series while I await the next book I can't help it they are just that GOOD. I would highly recommend this book to everyone who can read and if you can't read find someone to read it to you yes it is that good, but if you have never read any of her books in this series I suggest that you start with book one to get to know the characters and what this series is about. Whenever I read the next book from this author, I find myself holding my breath for my favorite people in the story. I love the cover of this book. I can now see the ranch and not have to try and picture it in my mind, and Oh My did you get a load of the new twist she throws in?? Good golly miss molly they were juicy to say the least! More please! I must say, it makes me mad when I read some of the crap things people waste their time writing just for the sake of bad mouthing someone. Shame on you! Shame, shame, shame, you know who you are. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. We can all make up our own minds, and this is the way it should be. This was well worth the money I paid for this book and I look forward to the next one.

She has done it again and left me wanting more just as her other two books did, I received this book yesterday and could not put it down, I just finished it and it was a great read, just to see where the story is going is wonderful, I will be waiting for book four.

I've read about half-way through this third book and I want so much for Stephanie and Susan's love to survive even with all the BS they have been going through, but at the same time, Stephanie is becoming a woman I don't trust or even like much anymore.
If this attorney comes in and takes little Billy from Susan, it's going to be bad.
(Speaking a silent plea for mercy in this situation since Susan has lost so much in her life and the baby needs her).
How come it seems that bad things always happen to good people?
Susan deserves some good stuff for a change, she is a lot like my ex-wife, (my new wife doesn't like for me to say that, but its true) I'm still gunning for her to find true love in the end.
My sister-in-law gave my wife this set of books to read because she loved them and since I review books for a hobby, (Mostly mystery's) and was between authors right at the present time, I thought why not make Ms. Chatelain my next author to read.
She does have a totally different writing style then I am use to reading (not bad at all) her ability to tell a realistic story is baffling, I was impressed, I will not give this book five star due to some editing errors. (Which if you read through them does not distract from the story line) It is however well worth the money and a very good read, this is one of those books that are hard to put down and the way the author leaves you hanging is brilliant.
I also love the fact that the book takes place so close to me.

I thought the first book was good and was greatly surprised that the story only gets better! Ms. Chatelain has a wonderful ability to keep the reader engrossed in her story lines. A must read!!

What a wonderful story line going on in the pages of these books

Makes me long for my younger day where I could have enjoyed the lives some of these people are living out

It also makes me long for a lost love I had not thought about in a very long time (I'm sorry Veronica)

This book draws you in and holds you

So watch out ladies you may end up calling in sick to work to finish this one off

I was hooked once I read book one and could not believe the story could get better with book two but it really did and now I'm just waiting for book four because book three I just finished was great

I loved the stories within the story as well as you read you will see what I mean

I would recommend this series and author to anyone
