Friends of the San Pedro Library, Producer of Around the World, Around Our Town; Recipes from San Pedro, is a non-profit support group for the San Pedro Regional Library, a branch of the Los Angeles Public Library. Chartered in 1972 with six founding members, we number close to 400 members. Our original goal was a new facility, and we feel that we did help our community achieve that goal. All proceeds from this book will be used to purchase books to expand and enrich the San Pedro Library collection.

This one one of Leo Politi's last books that he illustrated for the San Pedro Library. Leo shares his creative gift while this non-profit organization shares thier yummy receipes. If you love Leo ... you'll treasure this book!
