A Must Have,

Quick: BUY IT! Yeah, I REALLY mean it (and no, I don't work for Amazon)! This is an anthology of one of Brazilian greatest bands and the most succesful outside its country. Here we have all the songs that made their success (ok, ok, this record is from 1990, so they made other hits songs... which granted them more fame - they opened for Brian May in England). Rock, reggae, ska, pop, latin music, brazilian rhythms, everything is in this album. Herbert Vianna is a great musician and a great lyricist and Joćo Barone is Brazil's best drummer. Listen it and have fun!

Outstanding career overview,

Arquivo sums up the first half (1983-90)of this brilliant Brazilian band's career. The earliest songs demonstrate a heavy Police influence, but by the end of this period the band had become a reggae-rock-ska-jazz hybrid like no other. The trio has since grown much more complex and sophisticated (witness Nove Luas and Hey Na Na), but this Best-of set is start to finish excellent, containing such absolute essentials as Meu Erro, Alagados and Lanterna dos Afogados.

this is the cd that you must have in your Collection of Paralamas do Sucesso, All the songs in this album are good, it reminds me the good times that I had in the 80s when I was in High Scholl.
