About the Author
Barbara Rosen has a BA from McGill University, Montreal and an EdM from Harvard University. A former English and creative writing teacher, she came to Europe in 1978 to research another book (The Mews of London, co-authored with Wolfgang Zuckerman), as well as to France and Spain, to write Arriaga, which stands as the sole English language biography of the Basque composer. She served as Cultural Affairs Officer at the British Embassy/British Council in Washington, DC. She now runs a company - Anima Galleries - which represents Russian, European and US artists and organizes exhibtions at major US and European venues.
