Very Good CD!,

I used to dance to Mike Cruz spinning at the old "Krash" in NYC about 9 years back. I always loved the tracks he chose and the way he mixed thr new tracks in... giving you a tease here and until you get the full track. This CD definitely shows how Mike has evolved and grown as a DJ, makes me miss the days when I would dance till the club closed. I wish he had more CD's out! BTW, I was watching this documentary called "Paper Dolls" and Mike was in it for a few minutes, I guess he was spinning at this gay club in Israel shown in the doc. Thanks for all the great times and this ovah Album, Mike!

Having heard of DJ MIke Cruz but having nothing in the collection of his I was pleased to pick this up on a recent trip to the US. Worth every penny and exactly what everyone who has given this set 5 stars says about it.

Mike Cruz's remixes have been getting better and better, so when I saw he had mixed a compilation, I crossed my fingers that he would bring that style of music to his mix. And did he ever. Unlike some other DJs, this isn't a total self-serving way to get all his own remixes onto one disc. It's also not a simple attempt to throw really obvious club tracks together. And it's not half good, half filler. This is 2 discs of peak hour anthems, with every version running for a good length instead of being mixed out after 3 minutes. And instead of interspersing dubby tribal tracks and vocals, disc 1 focus entirely on diva vocals, while disc 2 is more of an instrumental set with only vocal samples here and there. This is a dance collector's dream disc. Track times are:
CD1 1. as I am (8:29) 2. Voodoo (7:30) 3. I'll be your freak (7:16) 4. Sunshine (6:33) 5. Movin up 05 (8:40) 6. Burnin out (7:15) 7. It's over (7:29) 8. Sit down (4:53) 9. Foolish mind games (9:04) 10. You're my angel (6:37) CD2 1. The only one (8:35) 2. And now you left me (6:22) 3. Lotta love (5:52) 4. Most precious love (6:37) 5. That's more like it (4:58) 6. going back to my roots (5:45) 7. discussions 05 (5:56) 8. you can make it (4:47) 9. brinca 05 (7:35) 10. Noahs in the air 05 (6:36) 11. oh really (8:17)

Mike Cruz once again shows us that he has got skills. I have been a fan of his remixes for years, and this 2-CD set is the icing on the cake! If your not that lucky to actually hear Mike spin live this cd will do the trick. Mike mixes some of the hottest tracks out now and some destined to be big hits. The Tony Moran remix of Mike's now classice song with Inaya Day "Movin Up" is simply amazing. Pick up your copy today, you wont be disappointed!
