Power metal at its finest! Fans of HammerFall and Helloween should definitely get into this album quickly. The production is top notch from start to finish. The dual guitar attack of Fredrik Jordanius and Jimmie Bergkvist should welcome any fan of Judas Priest/Iron Maiden. Let's not forget the soaring vocals of Kristian Wallin, this guy is the genuine issue, sure to become a legend if this band continues, which leads to my only complaint, where are they?! I've been waiting since 2003 for a new release, come on guys, give me another!

I happened to catch a glimpse of this at a record store with a sticker on the wrapper that says "CLASSIC POWER METAL - 80's Metal - very melodic choruses, combined with dark double guitar attacks are a feature of RISING FAITH's unique and incomparable style. Mastered by Andy La Roque (King Diamond, Death)." and this intrigued me so I decided to buy it and I was rather pleased. Heavy riffs, screaming vocals, and great drumming; what else could you want from a Heavy Metal band? There's a little bio in the booklet that says "...guitar attacks which remind one of Mercyful Fate or Judas Priest..." but to me they sound more like HammerFall with a little Grim Reaper and Metallica added to the mix. I would have rated this even higher than 4 stars but I think the cover is kind of dumb and the lyrics aren't the best but I wouldn't expect it out of a band that is either finnish or german.
