If you run a lot of coax, you need this tool. I install cable television, so needless to say, I run a lot of wire during the day. This tool cuts the time it takes me to run a line almost in half. Instead of hammering in individual staples, just point and shoot. Pretty much the only surfaces it won't staple into are metal, asbestos siding, and concrete/stucco. I only wish it could hold more staples at a time. It's also a little on the pricey side, and I almost didn't buy it because it's so expensive. But having used it, I'd say it was definitely worth the investment. It's earned a permanent place in my tool belt.

I put off buying this but gave in when I wanted to run 10 strings of LED XMAS lights around our new fence for night time illumination. Well this bad boy is just what one needs to quickly staple up wiring. I have also used it for CAT 5 wiring in the basement and a co-worker used it for coax TV cable. Yes it is a bit pricey but it works great and the finished look it very nice. Both black and white plastice staples are available.

This tool is solid and works flawlessly. I used it to network my whole house and never had an issue.

I used the "clear" color Arrow Fastener 591189 Genuine T59 Insulated Clear 5/16-Inch by 5/16-Inch Staples, 300-Pack staples and they worked great with this tool for tacking network cable. I think the smaller size 1/4" x 1/4" stables may work a bit better, but I could only find them in black.

One of the other reviews I read says it doesn't drive the staples all the way in, but mine does without any gap at all. It's possible they got a defective unit.

Pros
-------------
+ Made in the USA!
+ Very sturdy construction, it's basically 100% stainless steel
+ Tacks cable evenly every time, mine drives the staple all the way in
+ No electrical cord or batteries to worry about, it just works
+ Will probably last forever

Cons
-------------
- Not really a con because I knew this when I purchased it, but it doesn't seem to be able to accept smaller size staples for electrical or audio wiring. I think Arrow makes another tool for that, but it would be nice to have an all-in-one solution.

This stapler works great. I used it for installation of cat5e cable in my attic and it made the running of the cable so much easier. I've run cable in attics before using nail type brackets, a real pain in the "...". This just makes life so much easier.

I run Coax on occasion and using this is much easier than using a Hammer. The stapler is well made, and made of metal, instead of cheap plastic. It has a rubber grip on the handle.

Best thing about this staple gun is the very deep guide notch that allows you to shoot your staple without fear of a puncture. The staples themselves are safe too, they have a plastic body shaped to cradle the wire, and a metal staple that slides through the body; the metal staple does not touch the wire at all!

I ordered .25 inch staples for use with a CAT 6 ethernet cable - the fit is loose, a bit sloppy. Maybe the next smaller staple would have been better for this cable, but I'm not sorry that the cable is not crunched.

Glad to have this new item in my tool box.

I saw the cable guy using this tool, and knew I had to have it. Works great on those pesky round TV cables! Of course, I have found other good uses, too. Use your imagination.
