Arrow's T75 Wire and Cable Staple Tacker has an all steel construction with chrome finish. It is designed for a wide range of wire and cable fastening applications, including Romex, non-metallic sheathed cable, U.F.. cable, wire conduit, plastic cable, copper tubing or any round object up to 1/2-inch in diameter. Ideally suited for fastening inside wiring cable up to 26-pair and Romex cable up to 12-3, this tacker can also be used as a faster, less expensive drive ring in residential wiring. The strong staples give a substantial safety margin in holding cable, while the driving blade halts the staple at a safe height to prevent cutting into the wire or cable covering. This tacker takes 9/16-inch, 5/8-inch, and 7/8-inch staples.

T75 staples are UL-listed for fastening NM-B (Romex) cables. The simple design involves few jams. There are a lot of misfires and it takes a bit to get the hang of tilting the stapler lead edge forward and pressing hard just as the kick hits.

But this is WAY better than buying two-part plastic-metal staples or hammering in 'hard' staples across EVERY joist (as required in NEC). This stapler reaches places hammer-and-hard-staple cannot, although sometimes you just have to resort to screwing in a UF strap, if the clearance is too small for either.

Up there with the Klein 14/2 // 12/2 NM-B jacket stripping wire strippers, I rank this among the indispensable hand-tools of the residential electrician.

Being a diabetic and having very little feeling in my hands this tool works great. Using the hammered in staples I would drop 3 or 4 staples before finally driving the staple in. This stapler cut my wiring time by 2/3rd's.
