We use these but it seems like lately the quality has dropped off. When not in use we have tried leaving them in various positions but they inevitably leave a puddle of soap. This wastes soap and keeps the handle slippery.

I've used these for years as my sole method of dishwashing (I live alone). It's a simple, effective well thought out design. The shape of the head allows you to clean the entire inside of glasses. When you get one, prime the sponge with a drop of dishwashing liquid and fill up the handle whenever it becomes less than 1/2 full.
