I went on Subscribe and Save, got six bags of flour no shipping, no tax, comes out to LESS THAN half price (one bag normally costs $5.99). The bags are of a substantial size at 24 ozs each. I made coconut cookies with this flour and coconut flour combined--no white flour at all, using a cookbook entitled GOOD TO THE GRAIN. The recipes on back of bag are a good place to start. At this price, you can share the wealth by giving as little gifts to other Foodies you know.

I use this in lieu of whole grain pastry flour in baking and it works well. I have even used it in bread baking as a partial ingredient with spelt flour.

We have been using barley flour and oat flour to mix with our regular whole wheat or while flour. It adds a slightly different flavor and consistency to what we are baking -- but we really enjoy it!

I was looking for whole barley flour because of its many benefits. I was so happy to find this product available with a reasonable price.

I was pleasantly surprised making our holiday sugar cookies with this barley flour! Now they have more protein than they normally would, helping to balance out the sugar rush -- and they taste so wholesome! YUM!

i love organic barley flour, makes really good and healthy pancakes and waffles. i just add some raw wheat germ to the mix and everything i make with it turns out delicious.

I use this mostly as a baby cereal (cook like cream of wheat but with lots of stirring). It also works fine in baked goods.

I find this to be about the same as Bobs Red Mill Barley, except in organic. I wish, however, that it came in units of 4 insterad of 6. Five bags of this fills up the 5.3 qt containers I purchased and there's still a bag to do something with.... Good quality though. My sourdough starter ate it right up :)

I like to drink barley soup everyday. It makes me feel good. This is one of the best Barley power I ever had. I mix three table spoons of Barley in to cold water, stir it well and then dump in to boiling water, get it cooled a bit and drink it with pinch of salt. This Arrowhead barley taste so great, every time I feel, I get connected to Nature after drinking it. Great organic product and I give full stars to it.

Doggie biscuits are made with Barley flour. I was finding it difficult to find. This site has it in quantity and at a great price. The bonus is that I can us this flour for my own needs as well as those of my pup. He does love his homemade biscuits!
