These seeds are best ground fresh as you use them, but I grind up a cup at a time and store it in a jar in my freezer and sprinkle it on fruit, ice cream, applesauce etc. I have even sprinkle it on my pasta when making vegan spaghetti and meatballs! I bake with the seeds whole and have been experimenting with adding them to things like peanut butter cookies, rhubarb cobbler.

It is a good deal as long as you have plenty of freezer space to keep the seeds in. Flax seeds are really good for you, they could be eaten whole, but if you grind them in a coffee grinder and eat within 15 minutes they will provide all omega 3,6,9, and bunch of fiber at the same time.
I like to add mine to yogurt, smoothies and sprinkle on salads.

I use this product and can't always find it in the health food store. I prefer the golden flax seed. Thanks for a quick order and an excellent product. The service on this order was terrific.

The product came well wrapped in 12 - 14 OZ packets. The product was fresh and the expiration dates on all packages were out into 2011. The 14 oz packages are easy to store and are about the right size to last a month. And best of all the price was reasonable. My wife and I grind flaxseed every morning and put it into a glass of orange juice to boost our intake of Omega 3. If you buy flax, get the whole seed not the pre-ground meal. The pre-ground meal will not provide the freshest Omega 3 oils.

This is a great value for the product. I grind them fresh when I need them which is much better than getting pre-ground flax. Great nutritional value and a lot of small packs is much better than one awkwardly huge bag. Will definitely buy this again when I run out!
