Fun, classic game,

This review is from: Ars Magica, Third Edition (Ars Magica Fantasy Roleplaying) (Paperback)
This is a fun game. The magic system is really interesting and flexible without being too complex and the troupe-play style makes it good for groups of players that struggle to hold on to DMs. It's a little dense with information, but the overall story is fun. The character creation is easy enough to follow and this edition retains a bit of the 90's World of Darkness feel without being too over the top on drama. Biggest complaint: White-Wolf chose the cheapest binding options. It's stitched and glued and the first 20+ glossy intro pages WILL fall out with even light reading. Finding a used copy of this game with all it's pages is hard. Also, oddly enough, it's really hard to find this book with the character sheet still intact. Ever copy I've ever found at gaming or used book stores has had the character sheets cut out.
