By P. Pac (Kew Gardens, NY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Art of Argument (Paperback)
Whatever your dispute, from tangos with credit card companies over bills and unauthorized charges to arguments with insurance companies regarding medical expenses, this book is a great resource. If you need to present an argument or justsimply write a convincing letter that is logical, cohesive and accurate do as the authors teach, "keep it clear and crisp." The authors simply, clearly and concisely hammer home their points using simple analogies and examples to assist in improving your written art. Thirty-three rules are outlined, about one page each and you are on your way to mastering the methodology of argument - the ability to persuade your opponent to agree with your point of view. This book is an alternative to an investment of three years and sixty-thousand dollars in law school and will result in you thinking and making arguments like a lawyer. Nascent students of the law may want to get a head start - get this book! |
