Book Description

December 1, 2000
"The Art of Body Singing" is a meticulous, beautifully crafted journey in understanding the voice as an instrument. Breck Alan's philosophy is to start by teaching a thorough system of vocal mechanics and techniques through genuine examples, exercises and intelligent application. Only then is it safe to move on to the more pschycological aspects of performance. The Art of Body Singing isn't filled up with the tired old musical standards and vague voice coaching you've seen in other vocal instruction books. Instead, it's loaded with page after page of real world vocal instruction, teaching you how to quickly apply the techniques that you're learning to the music of your choice. This system is for all levels and styles of singers and teachers; it is recommended that everyone begin at Volume 1. So no matter what your skill level, prepare to find and assemble your entire instrument and dive into the world of "The Art of Body Singing."
