This book is THE Bible for Botanic Illustration. The revised and updated volume by the great Professor William T. Stearn, formerly botanist at the British Museum, and his famous collaborator, curator and artist Wilfred Blunt is lavishly illustrated with many plates in color--as they must truly be for a book on this subject.
Your study of botanic illustration starts here with what is the defacto bibliography on this subject. If it turns out to be the most expensive book in your collection of books on this subject, that is fully justified.
