Art Brut Videos and Live Performances Live Life,

Art Brut's first album, Bang Bang Rock and Roll is pretty great. Their live performances are also pretty great and I always am happy to go see them perform. This has a few videos off BBR&R and some live footage. If you like Art Brut, you'll probably like this. The videos may be a good introduction for those who haven't heard them, but I don't imagine it will change the mind of one who's not a fan.Eddie Argos' performances and talents (singer, songwriter, artist, writer, t-shirt designer and comic book lover, yes that last one is a talent as well) often don't translate to recordings as much as the experience of the performance, so if you are unable to catch Art Brut (or Art Goblins, or Everybody Was in the French Resistance...Now! or Keith Top of the Pops or Glam Chops or The Black Arts or The English Traveling Wilburys or Future and the Boy or most recently Spoiler Alert!) then you should buy this. If you have caught them live, then you probably already own this so good for you! |
