Book Description

Marriable Series January 1, 2007
In 2005, Hayley and Michael DiMarco helped take the desperate out of dating with Marriable. Now they continue to help adult singles with essential dating topics to expose and eliminate their desperate dating habits. The Art of Small Talk teaches singles how to start a conversation and keep one going; how to communicate in those sometimes uncomfortable dating situations (i.e. meeting the parents); and when and when not to talk about marriage, kids, your exes, and more. The Art of the Chase talks with men about how to skillfully pursue women and with women about how to encourage and enjoy the chase. These engaging books offer another shot of wisdom about the art of dating.

The basic premise of this book is for women to withhold sex until marriage to get a man to chase her. I disagree with that philosophy and was dissappointed in this book because the "art" of chasing is so much more than that.

It's not new news that men and women think differently, it's just sometimes we don't realize how differently and how that impacts our relationships. I think this book would help a lot of women maybe understand why their approach may not be working time and again. Women may think it is not necessary but that is the way women think and not men and it is men they are trying to relate to- not women.
