I was looking for a decent size whisk with a larger grip handle. The handle on this whisk was good size, but the whisk itself is the same size oas the handle. Another reason to buy stuff in the store instead of online.

Sounded Good, But Fell Apart At First Use,

EDIT: It's now six months later, and this whisk has pretty much fallen apart. Two more of the U-shaped tines have fallen out, and I've only used it maybe once a month. Even though I put them back in, it doesn't matter, because for some reason, they don't stay in this whisk. Do NOT buy this product! It's a real waste of money.
(First review) Wow, what a disappointment! I purchased this whisk because it had a wider, more comfortable handle and more tines than the whisk I had before this that I was replacing. It sounded really good, and the price was right for what I was looking for. I guess I got my hopes up too high, because I used it ONCE and it fell apart. All I did with it was whisk a roux for a soup I was making, so we're talking a couple tablespoons each of flour and butter. I whisked the roux together, and as soon as I tapped the whisk off on the side of my stock pot, not hard, mind you, one of the tines (I don't know what the technical word is -- the metal U-shaped things that make a whisk a whisk) fell off. I couldn't believe it! It was the first time I'd ever used this whisk, and I didn't use it forcefully or anything! I would not recommend buying this product because that's just ridiculous. I mean, a whisk should be able to take a beating (no pun intended), you know? Or at least hold up for at least 20 uses before it craps out on you.

This whisk is comfortable to use. I used it 3 times before it fell apart. Amazon is sending me a replacement.
