Date selection as I remember used to be done at temples by the monks. Until I read this book, I didn't know think that it was this simple to select a good date - and rewarding too. For starters, it gives me the confidence that I'm doing the right thing at the right time - or at least not at the WORST time in situations where I couldn't select the best dates. I would encourage anyone without this skill to read this book and acquire this useful skill - it is almost effortless to do so. Easy to read and to-the-point examples illustrate how it's all done.

I think this book is very interesting for the average person, who don't want to learn a lot of BaZi, but offers enough information about electional chinese astrology for your day-to-day matters.

As always, Joey Yap promises "advanced techniques" for his next book. In his book about BaZi, this can be very annoying, as you feel that he is not really teaching the essential you need to know. But this is not so important in this book, as the art of date selection is very hierarchical in nature: first you throw out the bad, and then select the good among the usable. So, the information in the book will be more than enough for most practical matters.

The Chinese always believed in selecting a good date for starting important activities and now I finally know why and truly believe it works. After reading this book I choose a good date to negotiate my pay rise and it went smoothly! Then I choose a good date to start my diet and the results were simply amazing. I choose dates for all my important activities now!

This book is for anyone who has some or no knowledge at all of Date Selection coz it teaches you how to do it easily. You can get dates for Marriage, Marriage Proposal, Breakups, Divorce (avoid the bad things even if things are bad) Business Openings, Asset Acquisition. Contract Signing, Medical Procedures, Diet.
