5.0 out of 5 stars You'll never tour DC the same again, December 29, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Most of us don't think twice about the statues and paintings that bombard us as we tour our nation's capital. It's all just pretty decorations and part of the scenery to us. Little do you know there were dozens of committee meetings, rejected and revised proposals, serious ethical compromises and a lot of politics going on behind every single statue, fountain, monument and decoration. This may look like a dry and scholarly book, but it actually reads quite easily and pullsyou in. Have a go!
