5 stars 5 stars all the way. I am a dancer from Calif. What the author advises you to do, and if you put it to use, you'll make a fortune. Since I purchased the book and read it, my income has skyrocketed. I just read the reviews and this book in my opinion deserves 5 stars.There was one review on Jan 8th though that had to of come from a very jealous, insecure woman,dying in envy and cannot handle another persons success. That is a shame. The Art of Exotic Dancing by Nada Mirat is far from bad, it is excellent! Jelousy is an illness, so I figured I should write an review myself, since I was searching for more books on this author and stumbled upon a bad review.The author not only has the experience in the field researching clubs for 8 yrs, she is full of good advice and stands up for the dancers, whom are often refered to strippers. Nada refers to us as actresses and danceretts. I have learned so much from this woman, and believe that after you read it for yourself will find it fascinating as well.When I first opened this ultra high quality printed book I taught there were at least 5 different models in it, yet to my surprise it was all the author herself, showing many ways to transform yourself so you can cater to any customer-even if he likes blondes and you are a brunette. She quotes "wig it". There is much good to say about this book, but all I want every woman or man out there to know, this book is worth buying and reading. She is my idle. For those of you that may not be aware I also found her website NadaMirat.com Check her out and her accomplishments which she doesn't mention in her book. Also you will get a glimpse of this hot woman for free, although it is not what the book will show you, no full nudes on the site. Any person who is interested in being an exotic dancer, or those who are curious abuot what this industry is all about should definetly check out this book! As a dancer of 4 years, I have experienced many ups and downs, if I had read this book before I had begun, it would have made things much easier, and I would have made more money from the beginning! Since reading this book I have almost doubled my profits! Put it to use!

My review comes from a different perspective. I'm a frequent customer to Gentlemen's Clubs. I bought this book because I was curious about the profession coming from a woman who's been in it.

First of all, I loved the book. The quality of the book is first class, and what Playmate Nada teaches is first class all the way.

I recommend this book to all "danceretts" as Nada calls them. Every dancer I know who's bought and read this book considers it their "bible" in the business. Their income has increased significantly because of it when they do what Nada teaches.

For men who want to understand dancers, I highly recommend they order this book too. (Plus you'll LOVE all the pictures!)

For woman who just want to know what it's all about, I'm sure they'll find it a very interesting read too.

Fantastic Book!! My husband has seen a dramatic change in our sex life. Not only does this outstanding book explain the do's and don'ts, it will give a woman (as well as a man) behind the scenes approach to being sexy. Just the right combination of clothing and different exotic movements can make all the difference in the world. Just knowing that this woman went around the country to do her research, and being an ex-dancer myself, shows just how the industry operates. There is nothing but truths written about the industry in this book. This is a very competitive industry. I wish I would have had a manual like this when I was a dancer. Illustrations and text are worth every penny. You could say this is money well spent. Thank You Nada Mirat....you should be and inspiration to all. Where in the world are you? Since I did read that you have a web site, and I am on my way there now! When and where is your next book promotion? That would make an awesome gift for my husband to have his picture take with you and I.

I enjoyed reading and feasting on all the sexy photos & different looks a woman can acquire. I am not a dancer, yet I purchased this book cause my boyfriend & I visit gentlemen's clubs often. We know many dancers whom have read The Art of Exotic Dancing by Nada Mirat and they all think it is awsome. Including one of the porn superstars, whom used to dance full time and now features at high class cabarets, whom we recently met, and she also loves it. She said the book is on the dot about the industry.We were surprised that she knew so much about it. She said to us "Nada shows you how ot walk, talk, speak, dress, dance, move, and conquer the industry of exotic entertainment." We both agreed. Nada Mirat also explains the whole industry. How the clubs are run, where are the best clubs to dance at, list of almost all the clubs in US, what makes a club, working the VIP room, many roles the actresses can play, how to be a fantasy on stage, even a chapter, if this profession is for you? She did not miss a thing and my boyfriend and I are so much more informed now that this is a business a profession for these girls, and we don't waste their time at the clubs any longer. We used to spend to much time and not tip them enough, now we do it different and pick the cream of the crop and make sure she is taken care of. I am a dancer at one of the classiest clubs in US. I got my book as an gift from our club, as it is required when any girl gets hired by our club, to read this book. It is mandatory before they start. I truly enjoyed it, and got great ideas from it. The author is knowlagable of the industry and makes us realize how important it is to treat the customers good. They will become your regulars and you will have a steady income. It covers everything you want to know about real exotic dancing and how to become a true class act. If you want to succeed in this extremely and I mean extremely, competitive business, you should definitly read this book first.It is a must! Few months ago the author was at our club, I was estatic! She is so kind and was so good to all the dancers that she is known as the mama of the industry.
(Yet she looks like no mother) rather a gorgeous and very elegant woman. She left the club with spending over 10,000 dollars on treating all the girls with incredible tips alone, not to mention her feeding us with the best food the club can offer. We drank Cristal all night long she purchased over six bottles of the best champagne in the world. She knows how to treat people with love and kindness. Her book is definitly great and meeting her was so amazing. She is our clubs queen and we will never forget her. Learn from this woman is my advice. If a 5 star club recommends it, and it is a must read for all new girls, then you can rest assured that they know a good thing when they see it. I rate it at more then 5 stars! It is a perfect 10!

I am an exotic dancer for over 15 yrs. I am truly impressed with the whole book. Incerdible info on the industry. I have bought every book on this subject, and I mean every book, and not one can come to comparison. There is not one thing the author left out. The exotic industry runs just the way the author wrote about it. There are plenty of photos, which I loved and it shows great movement and the art of seduction. The author changes from blond to brunette, to show many ways to change your look, to satisfy your customer. The author is a Playmate so you will see just 3 or 4 classy nudes and some topless photos. She has a chapter on posing for Croatian Playboy, which is awesome. Isn't that what we do anyway? Strip down to being topless or nude, depending on which club you work at? The book is very inspiring, very educating and down right honest and uplifting. I should know I have been in this biz for a long time. If you find classy beautiful art repulsive then you should look somewhere else, and if you don't you will get the best book ever written on the subject. I cannot believe that I survived all these years in this business, yet I did. Yet, I have struggled. Since I read this top notch book my profits have significantly gone up. For years I have been searching for someone to bring out a book that covers it all. And to the exotic dancers or men out there that want to know the truth about the industry, THIS BOOK IS IT!

My review comes from a different perspective. I am a pro-dancer that got burnt out on the business. I bought this book as couple dancers told me about it. Unfortunetly one naysayer dancer almost convinced me not to buy it, claiming she could of done better. Dancers are interesting., very competitive! I did like this read and am very glad I don't listen to envious girls. If you need a pick me up and or want to know how to be the best among the competition in any club, then buy it. If you are the envious type don't. More knowlage and money for me :)Trish

I have read and explored few books on this subject. I was a new girl in the world of exotic dancing and I needed guidance. I purchased a book The S Factor by Sheila Kelly together with Nada Mirat's The Art of Exotic Dancing. Sheila's book was good, yet that book is for people wanting to use it as an exercise guide, not about how the world of exotic dancing operates. I also read The Art of Exotic Dancing for everyday woman by Leah Stauffer and it was based for housewives, yet it was fun as well. My review on this book comes from the knowlage of the author, as she is the only one that has written a true how to on Exotic Dancing industry. How to auditon, how the clubs work, how to dress, how to present yourself to the client and the best part is that it makes sence. It is well written and described. This book is very pretty and I love what she teaches. She makes the world know that this is a profession just like any other career and you should not be ashamed of what you do. If you work in a no contact high class club as she teaches, you will make money with all her great information. I was impressed and I recommend this book highly. I am takeing every bit of information and useing it, as it is working for me already. Love the pictures and I love the way the author shows us that we can be all kinds of different women. This is in my opinion the best book out there about this subject. A reader from California.

This book sucks! I really hate to think that this book has provided anyone with insight on the art of exotic dance, or being sexy! It is mostly pictures, some unclear and even unprofessional looking. The terrible spelling errors and lack of any real information is just embarrassing for the "author". I think this book, while advertised as a way to improve your exotic dancing, etc, is nothing more than a more expensive issue of Playboy. Save your money and find another resource.
