Saw these guys live when they opened for Stars at Webster Hall on September 22, 2012. They were great so I decided to purchse their album. I love the 80s new wave/laid back indie rock sound they have. Would definitely recommend this band.

Heard them on a flyby tv program and was drawn in with their music. Has a retro 80's feel to it with a modern twist. The whole cd is good, each song unique,complex and interesting. Can't wait to catch them live!

Jesus & Mary Chain meets Stones Roses
Familiar but fresh. Lots of very listenable tracks on this disc. One of my fav's of the yr so far.

Great new band
I got turned on to the California Wives while listening to WNKU and had to have this album. They are a great sounding group from Chicago. Really love the song Blood Red Youth.
