This book is chock full of great photos and information about hot rod builders and their reason for existance.....those hot rods that cause our jaws to drop wide open in amazement and adoration. This is a "gotta' have" coffee table book for the American hot-blooded hot rod enthusiast!

This book profiles 20 of the most prolific hot rod builders in the country. Ken Gross writes in a fun manner and you can tell that his interviews with each builder really get to the heart of their individual building philosophy. Peter Harholdt photographs each builder's car like it's in a museum display...a real work of art. Lots of detail. It's quite unique. A great book...a great gift too.

This book is stunning visually and there is great information about a wonderful collection of new and restored hot rods that will satisfy the most discerning car guy. I loved the pix and know this is going to be a fun gift that won't be re-gifted.

If your passion is hot rods, this is a "must have" book for your library. The builders that are featured in Ken's latest book are the "tians" of the industry. Unbelievable photography of cars, people and shops that we have read about for decades. This coffee table book makes a great gift for the hot rod enthausiast.

I purchased this book as a gift for my Father. I didn't realize when I bought it that it's mostly a picture book. It does have some sections of text that tells about the photos. He likes it so I am pleased with my purchase.

Nicely done huge coffee table book,Although there are a few Chevy's (One With a Ford Engine! :( ) , I would have like to have seen MORE Chevies, 32-35' Chevy with Chevies in them Or GM Bodied and GM powered Cars. I know Hot Rods Are Usually 32' Fords with A Chevy in them, Call me crazy I am Brand Loyal and I like to see something different. book is still a great work.

Great photography of top Hot Rods. The book is made better by good background stories on the guys and shops that built them.

Saw a preview of this book on the Speed Channel & having seen the work of
many highlighted in this book, I wanted to buy it to get the details/extensive
photography provided on each.
Great "car guys" coffee table book, but one I'll actually read cover to cover.

This book was a Christmas gift for a family member and it worked out great! It has many awesome detailed pics of the different hot rod builders around the country! Good interviews and good pictures! This is a must have for your collection!
