4.0 out of 5 stars Great book for getting started with wood, June 10, 2010
This review is from: The Art of Jewelry: Wood: Techniques, Projects, Inspiration (Hardcover)
This is a great book for anyone interested in creating wood jewelry or incorporating wood into their work. It goes over different types of wood often used by jewelers, tools, connections and finishes via example projects. I would have to say its only real flaw is a lack of pictures for works in progress, and more in dept descriptions of some of the techniques employed in few of the projects (e.g. carving, etc). Overall however it's the best book on woodworking for jewelers that I have found so far.
