I was looking for creativity. The cover looks great and appears to have great ideas but there is NOT ONE PICTURE in this book! She does have alot of ideas for additives and examples of how much fragrance to add, or color or clay or other oils. I would say this book is more for beginners. If you are looking for new ideas then forget it. NO pictures??

Not enough book for the money. I purchased another book at the same time for 1/2 the price and it was much more helpful.

This book was alot of fun, played with all her different ideas. It is endless what you can create..I've made layered bars that look like watermelon, slices of pie, and the designer dupe fragrance oils are wonderful to add. In less than 24 hours you'll be able to make your own sudsy soap bars in any smell you want.. This book is great for a craft that the whole family can share in. Nice job Ms. Dolen
This would make a great gift along with starter supplies for Christmas.

So many ideas, so little time!,

This is such a fun book, it's hard to put it down. As a veteran M&P soaper, even I was able to find new and innovative ways to create special, one of a kind soaps. The section about using Essential Oils to make healing, soothing soaps alone was worth the price of the book, not to mention the many ways to package, embellish and present the finished soaps. I even learned a couple of new ideas for molds. From simply elegant to whimsical and downright cute, the author covers every type of M&P soap there is! I definitely recommend this book for veterans and beginners both!

I think I am one of the first to receive the Mable White Books, af few years ago and to catch the Web Site, when learning to make homemade soaps. I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. And what makes it even more fun, when questions arise, communication is wonderful. Have created soooo much and had sooo much fun doing it! Great Site!!!! Keep Up the Good Work Ms. Dolen!!!!Connie Terry

I love all her books. Very content rich, but they are becoming harder and harder to find. I has to go to mabelwhite dot com to get her books that are sold out here. Her videos are the best investment I have made.

Reviewer: RoseKnight "RoseKnight" (Memphis, TN) - See all my reviews I am a Country Singer who loves to make soap the most of all crafts. I have bought Mabel White books for the last five years and they have taught me great ideas I use every day in my hobby business. She gets ahead of the rest more and more every year, now she has awesome DVD videos no one else created! I find Mabel's books to be the most original ideas and not just a bunch of photos. *You do not need to buy her books to leave a rude comment and I feel people selling simliar soap books lowered themselves to leaving bad reviews to promote themselves and I am reporting this to Amazon. Now I will only buy her books and make this a cause. She has always responded to my questions, still does, and I honor the lady. [...] if you want a real person who buys her awesome work. PS, DVDs are just outstanding and HGTV quality. ~Rose |
