Matthew Stawicki is extremely good and you can see periods where he improves his paintings and that is a great thing for someone looking for the next level. He reminds me of some of the Dungeons and Dragons artists or sort of like Rowena Merril. I just reviewed J Christensen and would also recommend him, but if you are a fantasy art collector I would give this book a whirl and buy it. He teaches a thing or two by looking at him depending on where you are at and looking for.
