I bought complete The Art of Modern Rock as a gift for a record store owner/friend.
He loved it. Unquestionably a 5 star book. I wanted a copy for myself but couldn't pull the trigger twice for the $$$ price. So I went with this for a fraction of the price. It's a smaller format, with fewer pages. Probably 25% of the images. But there is still an awful lot here. Great posters, generally from 1980 on. The image on the cover is indicative of the style. Satisfied my jones, a fine value, great fun. From "A is for Accordion" to "Z is for Zombie"... (The cover image is under "A is for Angel") The complete book still is the way to go if price is no prob.
