4.0 out of 5 stars almost perfect...., June 2, 2011

great book..all the way down to your cheesy kind of dressed up larper ninja of the late 80s ... led of course by stephen hayes...ahh..so sad..stephen is actually a very very good "ninja" as well but hey someone had to do it and he was surely authorized!!!

great book on promotion of the bujinkan...except for the pictures of frank dux which leads to 4 stars almost gave it 3 for that...

i remember when this book was so pricey here in the USA you couldnt touch but know..yep even i have it..if you have always been looking for that "coffee table" real ninja book this is as close as you can get ... almost legit enuff to take seriously..and just cheesy enuff to catch eyes and stares at the same time...

almost when true ninjutsu was taught by the booj..now its how to be the last samurai or legit or have perfect ettiquitte or whatever go blow the egos some more is mostly all it is..too those that still take it seriously and know what im saying apologies keep going guys it will change soon enuff the greedy and ego blown older guys are going going ...almost gone..it wont live on..dont waste money on training and then take it out on your students that just perpetuates the cycle..(ha i got in a rant!) if you do at least give them what they are paying for.

get the book while its cheap its worth it ... look at all the old school peeps in there glory or puberty...either way..

NINPO IKKAN!!!
no not bufu...thats samurai. you arent samurai. stop it already. too many real samurai schools still around.

I have loved this book since childhood! Great photos of Hayes, Hatsumi, Nagato and other masters accompany a well-resaerched text in this oversized book.

If you have any interest in Ninjutsu, this book is for you!
