A Small Book, Just Big Enough to Whet the Appetite,

My only real complaint about this book is its size. Measuring at 4-1/2" x 7-1/2" it's tiny. The color photos inside offer some compensation, with views to works by Will Bradley, Manuel Orazi and Eugene Feuillatre and many others (not to mention Galle, Dresser, Tiffany Lalique, Beardsley). The quality of the photos is better-than-okay, but not great. Still, with 126 pages of overview, artist bios and photos (of furniture, graphic arts, posters, pottery and glass, jewelry, silver, etc.) there's enough here for a real taste of Art Nouveau. Just enough to whet the appetite.
