It is precisely what is needed and so easy to use especially for artists venturing out into their own business. It's a great business resource for organizing, selling, marketing and simply learning how to get out there and get noticed as a serious artist! Looking professional is the first step and this book focuses on that.

This book has some really good links for websites, as well as forms- I use them a lot, whether they're contracts, sales agreements or what not, they're nice to make copies of and have on hand.
It also includes goal-making, which is good, because that was the last thing I was thinking of, as well as show planning and how to do the p.r. for it.
I ended up buying a 2nd one to give to my sister/art manager.

Has pretty much everything you need for documentation of selling your artwork. Pages are perforated. You can tear them out and photocopy them.

This is a must have for any artist wishing to sell their art on their own, and for any start-up art gallery.

If you're a starving artist and you need help with documents, etc. This is for you. You can edit them to fit your needs.

Art Office is a wonderful book and I recommend it to any inspiring artists. The business forms within the book were very helpful and helped me to understand the importance of a paper trail.But,I wish the forms were on data CD, so I could modify them for my personal business needs.

The entire book-(about the size of a magazine)is filled with lots of forms. There are also some excellent sample letters for things like introductions, queries, requests, and press release. Each category chapter has a listing of helpful hints on how to make the most of each form. There are no articles on setting up an art office, nor any office space ideas...but lots of nice, professional, and very useful forms, all of which can be nicely removed and photocopied thanks to the perforated pages.

This book was a good by...starting out I needed a book with legal forms and this has almost everything you would need
