Book Description

There is no right or wrong way to have an orgasm. While some people might just think that oral sex is an extension, or precursor to intercourse, it really is an erotic art -- and therefore must have an artistic flair!

The Art of Going Down will explore techniques that will give you the confidence and skills you need to become a master in the precise art of cunnilingus or fellatio. The book will explore the often misunderstood topics of the male and female genitalia, and explain why the female orgasm is a much more complicated affair than the male orgasm. The Art of Going Down will discuss topics such as oral sex props, positions, how to discuss it with your partner, as well as tips, sidebars, and testimonials from both men and women. It will also include 30 full-color photos, shot on location to imbue the book with an erotic and contemporary angle. Some people consider oral sex even more intimate than intercourse -- so the mastery of this art is essential!

1.0 out of 5 stars cheesy picture book. low on details February 24, 2008
By Mel
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I was really disappointed in this one--there are lots of photos like the one on the cover, which show nothing. There are no detailed drawings, and few detailed descriptions of techniques (oddly, a whole section on shaving!!) If you want substance, I suggest the "Tickle his Pickle" and "Ride'Em Cowgirl" books--silly titles but full of very detailed drawings and descriptions of techniques, along with some very sweet humor, both from Dr. Sadie Allison.

3.0 out of 5 stars Informative February 3, 2009
This book does have some information in it that I didn't know so for that I am glad I bought it. I could do without some of the lame stories...just wanted information, not detailed stories of someone else's experience.

2.0 out of 5 stars Expected and wanted more December 15, 2008
I love the concept of the book...illustrating oral sex through pictures, but feel that this book feel far short of that. There is very little in the way of technique or new ideas presented. That would be fine wihh me if the pictures and illustrations had excited us, but we kept turning the pages looking for the "good ones." The poses are very stylized...and not at all what we were hoping for.

5.0 out of 5 stars True Art November 19, 2007
This book is beautifully photographed and well written. We have shared it as a couple and alone as well. It has taken the art of "oralization" to a new level.

2.0 out of 5 stars Go with your intuition March 29, 2010

Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I purchased this book after reading a good review, but I am disappointed. Many of the 'techniques' that are described are so basic that beginners have probably already tried them. If you have attempted oral at least once, you already know more than this book will 'teach' you. Definitely not for anyone who is looking for advanced techniques or something new to try! Save your money.
