Was looking for techniques and colors used. Came away with more questions than answers. Was more about the author and her work than I wanted to know. There was a whole page of Feng Shui and color; which, must have been filler stuff. Question: Does she apply stain over the painted surfaces on all of her items?I will have to say I really liked her work. The pictures were excellent.

I was disappointed in this book. It seemed more of an advertisement for her work then anything else. There is not a lot of instruction in this book and the pictured examples are fun but tend to get juvenile. I was hoping for more tecnique.

This book is a delight. I bought a set of candlesticks of Ms. Rosenberg's and just put her name on the internet. What a nice surprise to see she'd written books. Not only does this book show the process, but my candlesticks are in it! I now feel that I could accent other pieces in my room to match this set. Instructions are easy to follow; the methods quite interesting. I highly recommend this book - even if you don't want to paint yourself, her techniques are interesting to read about.
