The world has been waiting for a book like this.,

This book belongs in any household with twins or triplets. It is the most helpful book on raising twins that I have ever seen. The expert information is very useful and it is written so well that you wont put it down until you are done. This is a must have for anyone with a set of multiples in their family!

NOT AS BAD AS SOME OTHER "TWIN" GUIDES BUT....,

I still would not reccomend this book to anyone I know expecting twins. My boy/girl twins are now 16 weeks old, and I still feel this book is full of mixed information... I was very happy to read all of the information on the different types of twins but felt this may have been the bright spot in the book. After a COMPLETELY disatrous experience reading The Joy of Twins, I felt this was at least marginally better. I am still quite disapointed in this book when it comes to how it made me feel with regards to my personal choices of bottle feeding my children as well as going back to work. I am still searching for a realistic and honest book on the complications, elations, frustrations and pure joys of having twins....If this is what you too are looking for, don't bother spending your money here.

Has some good information, but...,

If you're the kind of person that wants good information in a condenced format, this book can be a bit frustrating. It is very "wordy", and I found myself scanning each page looking for the real information. Also, much of the information presented is "common sense". I'm sure that some people could benefit from this book, but if you have average intelligence, it may not be very helpful.

When you finally have time to sit down and read this book through it is full of great information on raising twins. But when you are a parent of twins you more often have time to skim the chapters that just pertain to you at this time and this book is great for that too. Almost everything that you could need to know is summed up in this great book.

As an expecting Mom of Twins...,
This review is from: The Art of Parenting Twins: The Unique Joys and Challenges of Raising Twins and Other Multiples (Paperback)
I have read this book since I am a first time mother expecting twins. I think the book is full of good information although I felt like I was reading the same thing over and over and over. It is the second book I have read about twins. I still haven't found a book that I absolutely love, but I have a few months until the twins come to find that book. Although it has good information, it just seems really repetitive to me.

What a relief to find this book, a constant resource to our newly expanded family (we are blessed with triplets). I know we will be using this book well for years to come, and I highly recommend it for new parents too. These authors know their stuff, and I'm so glad they were willing to so eloquantly share it with the world. Read it all!

Really enjoyed this book. It is pretty general and I would recommend it to people who are expecting twins and trying to get a handle on what they are in for. There is a lot of info in the first half of this book that I would have liked to have during our pregnancy.

Too Broad,

As an expectant mom of twins, I was disappointed in the lack of depth of this book. It offered very broad and superficial recommendations about raising multiples.

THE ART OF PARENTING TWINS: AN ABSOLUTE MUST!,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Art of Parenting Twins: The Unique Joys and Challenges of Raising Twins and Other Multiples (Paperback)
This book was packed with loads of useful information! What I found most interesting was the information around the different types of twins that can be conceived and how to determine which type you are carrying. I found the book very user-friendly and all the questions I had in my mind, seemed to unfold in simply written, clear answers. I would highly recommend this to any new mom who, like myself, has just discovered that she is carrying the miracle of identical twins!

A good twin book!,
By Mary (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Art of Parenting Twins: The Unique Joys and Challenges of Raising Twins and Other Multiples (Paperback)
I only give this book 4 stars instead of 5 because it is the 1st book I have read about raising twins. But it is a pretty good book because it covers many important issues anyone expecting twins would be asking.
