5.0 out of 5 stars A book born in the laboratory of Bible and experience
If you do not understand and know the truths of this book, it is highly unlikely that you will not be all that you can be as a believer in Jesus Christ. There is information here that you can rarely find in books about prayer. It is not written from theory. The text comes from life experience in the secret place with God. 3.0 out of 5 stars A Bit Disappointing
Unlike Hagin's other books, this book does not shed much light on prayer. While it is filled with many stories about prayer, it does not get into the nuts and bolts of prayer. A better book on prayer is Fred Price's "Answer Prayer Guaranteed."

If you do not understand and know the truths of this book, it is highly unlikely that you will not be all that you can be as a believer in Jesus Christ. There is information here that you can rarely find in books about prayer. It is not written from theory. The text comes from life experience in the secret place with God. There are many who think they understand faith and prayer. Sadly, without the truth that this book exposes, it is doubtful at best that those who think they know something about receiving from God and praying for others, really do know anything worthwhile. There are some books today that build on this work. However, either the Holy Spirit Himself has given you the truth found in these pages or He has poured through Kenneth Hagin as a ministry gift to get the goods on the subject of prayer over to you. It reaches far in its scope and highlights much that will only be understood best over a full life of praying as the Spirit of God accurately leads you. It is practically certain that those who want to be unashamed at the Judgment Seat of Christ have either had the Holy Spirit teach them the revelation in this book without the book or He has used the book to get the same points across. There is no office of an intercessor. Rather, every believer is called to intercede and to pray and this book will help you do just that if you act on the understanding presented.

A very clear understanding and teaching of Gods word. I have found his teaching to help heal both my body and Spirit as well as others. Invaluable in understanding the supernatural and the nature of our Lord.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Art of Prayer, December 12, 2008

This review is from: Art of Prayer (Paperback)
The most informative prayer book I have ever read. One can read it through slowly or quickly but you're sure to want to read it through more than once. Very simply written and understandable AND applicable. Kenneth Hagan was always good for making the complicated understandable.

5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST READ for those who want to learn about prayer!!!, March 14, 2011

This review is from: Art of Prayer (Paperback)
My heart had been hungry to learn more about prayer--not just prayer in terms of how the world and religous christians classify it--but true fellowship and communinion with the Holy One. The Lord led me to this book by Brother Hagin. I had read many books on many different spiritual topics by Brother Hagin in the past, and all were outstanding! So the expectation that this book would satisy my heart's longing was sky high before I even got started. And, of course, I was not dissapointed. There is no better way to learn about anything than to take in the thoughts, insights, and practices of those who were experts--by experience and biblical study. This book will open the eyes of your spirit to another level of true communion with the Father--a level not experienced by many on the whole in Christiandom. All topics covered in this book are backed and established by Scripture. This book is a MUST READ for those serious about going further in your prayer life!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!!, July 15, 2010

This review is from: Art of Prayer (Paperback)
When I first became a christian I knew Wilford Reidt. It was several years before he died, and he missed his wife Gertrude Lake Reidt so much. He was the greatest, wisest gentle christian I have ever known. He really knew prayer. He exuded prayer in his entire being. This book is full of the wisdom about prayer that only he could write about. Kenneth Hagin's book is the best book about prayer I have ever read.
