this is a great book, i've really enjoyed reading it. i had to buy this for my public speaking class, but its not like a textbook. it reads like a regular informational book, and has a lot of useful information. recommended for anyone who wants some professional advise on how to improve on your public speaking.

I bought this book because it's the required text required for a class I'm taking. The book is easy to understand and has good examples of speech formats and outlines.

I bought this book brand new due to the online access code. The book is really an easy and educational read (for being a text book). I usually find textbooks difficult to read, but this has been good. I haven't used the online access code because I want to be able to resell it with the code intact, but I can see where it would be good to have. This book was exactly what I needed for my summer class, and I received it promptly. Thanks Amazon.

As far as college textbooks go, this book is easy to read and very informative.

I found this to be a quick read and is helping me when I have to give techincal presentations in front of customers.

It has a lot of good pointers if you take the time to absorb them.

I found that the first half of the book was the most valuable.

I purchased this book for my speech class at college. This is a very good book and walks you through each part of the speaking process. It has great examples and helps with every little question one might have. It works well both inside and outside of class because it is so detailed. You do not need a teacher for each little bit because the book explains it so well.

this was required for a class i took. arrived quickly and in good used condition. easy read, nothing special, but had some good advice for getting prepared to give a speech. traded it back in after the class.

Although there was nothing at all wrong with the book itself, the college made an error on the assignment of my class. They actually registered me for an online class that required this book. It was not the book I really needed.

Booked is set for the price of $175 new. I was amazed Amazon had it listed for $40 used. Good price, and also the person i bought it from was honest and kept in contact and let me know what condition it was in. Will be buying my books from here from now on
