This latest book by the jovial Tonight Show announcer should help build a sense of confidence in readers faced with preparing and giving an after-dinner or keynote speech. The treatment is brief and on-target, not overly cluttered with digressions and anecdotes. McMahon advises talking the speech into existence, rather than writing it first, and gives tips on things to avoid as well as what to do. His fans will enjoy the glimpses into his career and personal life, including the talk he gave at his son Mike's high school graduation. Three pages of reference sources end the book.
