What a Blast,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Art of Redemption (Kindle Edition)
Truluck just took me on an awesome ride. Truly a thrilling story that kept me on the edge of my seat. A legitimate page-turner choc-full of raw action. The prose is far from ordinary and the characters blow away any hint of those cliched heroes of other mystery/action/adventure works of fiction. One can only hope for a sequel or a movie to compliment this righteous work of art.

Finding Truluck is True Luck,
This review is from: The Art of Redemption (Kindle Edition)
If you enjoy language that is smart, funny, down and dirty; cherish characters that jump off the page and smack you upside the head; crave literary journeys that take you to Hades and back with a trusty guide; like your noir as dark as coal and as light as a feather; "The Art of Redemption" is not only what you are looking for, it is what you need. Truluck's prose is as tame as a crocodile, as predictable as the stock market, as ordinary as a three-dollar bill. `No holds barred' comes about as close to describing Truluck's mastery of narrative and dialogue as `a book about a bunch of guys in a nut house' comes to summing up Kesey's "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest". If you found yourself dancing to the beats and pulses of James Ellroy's "L.A. Confidential" and "White Jazz", you will surely find yourself cutting up the rug to Bob Truluck's feral rhythms.
